Since 2002 Jesús Cuevas has had an active participation in the cultural field of

Oaxaca has had more than 30 collective exhibitions inside and outside the State, as well as in the

15 individual exhibitions in the State of Oaxaca and beyond.

There are several techniques that he dominates, proof of this are each of the works that he has done, where he has painted and represented different moods, real and imaginary stories, through color and shapes of his paintings.

 

 

Career and education

 

In 2002 he joined the School of Escuela De Bellas Artes de la Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez in Oaxaca to start his professional studies in the plastic arts, and at the end of these studies in 2006, he was chosen by the teacher Shinzaburo Takeda to obtain a scholarship and attend Summer Art at California State University in Fresno California.

His work has been exhibited in locations such as the National Lottery in Mexico City, and different states have opened their doors as Villahermosa Tabasco where he exhibited at the Cultural Center, other places he has exhibited were the H. Congress of the Free and Sovereign State of Oaxaca and the Cultural Space of Cinema and Visual Arts, Puebla.
